House description
A friendly 1st floor appartment for up to 5 people in the triangle where Styria, Carinthia and Salzburg meet - known as the sunniest area in Austria.
The appartment is simply furnished, but fully-equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, balcony and a large garden with sandpit.
Centrally located between a small supermarket, restaurant and a bar, which are all within 2 minutes by foot. The swimming lake is about a kilometer away too, so you may not need the car all week.
Those that do will love the quiet mountain passes and unspoilt countryside of one of the lesser known corners of the Austrian Alps.

The accomodation was good, given the very cheap price - although it was a bit old style decoration. Everything you may need was available.
Stadl an der mur was a perfect place to stay with small children. There is a supermarked, restaurants, small hiking trips, artificial lake, playground... and a doctor/pharmacy :-) Although it is not the wildest and most beautiful area in Austria in my point of view, it is very central and you can see wonderful landscape within 1-2 hours drive. People in the village were extremely friendly, eventhough our german was poor :-)
