This former hunting hut is located on a sunny spot just above Murau. The hunting hut was recently fully renovated, retaining all of the authentic style and charm. The location is very unique. It is surrounded by forests and a lovely alpine meadow. The view is truly breathtaking. You can not only see for kilometres around, you also have a view of the lovely town of Murau. You have this hunting hut all to yourself, privacy guaranteed. On the ground floor there is a charming sitting room with a tile stove for cosy winter evenings. In the kitchen there is even an authentic wood fired furnace, and next to the kitchen is a supply of wood for you to use. The sauna is also on the ground floor, next to the bathroom. On the first floor there are 4 spacious bedrooms and a balcony with a lovely view. Around the house there is plenty of space and freedom, with plenty of seating and opportunities for discovering nature. The hunting hut is on a resplendent meadow, surrounded by a lovely forest. In the direct proximity there are several ski areas, such as Frauenalpe 3km away and Kreischberg 10 km away from your holiday home. Besides skiing, you can also snowboard, skate and cross-country ski here.
Murau is a moderately old city in the Steiermark region and has a lot to offer both in summer and winter. The Murau is the woodiest region of Austria and with 200 days of sun, one of the sunniest parts of the Alps! Centrally located with the wonderful atmosphere of an old city where you can walk along the terraces and restaurants and also along the promenade along the Mur. The Murau-Kreischberg region offers guests a number of activities.
