The historic centre of the town of Goedereede, which is certainly worth a look, is within walking distance from the bungalow park.
In addition to the picturesque town of Goedereede, the family resort of Ouddorp and the fishing village of Stellendam are also on the island.
With its 25 km beach, the community of Goedereede is a lovely area for recreation and enjoyment of nature. With wide beaches, a lovely dune area, the Grevelinenmeer and many cycling and walking areas, the island is a real attraction for families and water sports enthusiasts for (kit) surfing and beach sailing.

At the resort there is a children's playground and a toilet block, where one can wash and dry (each for only € 2, =). A jeu de boule track is planned.
For snacks, a restaurant or a pub it's just a 300 meters walk to the cozy little harbor in the center of the town, where you can sit on the terraces.
In cafe 't Sas you can order your fast food, but brings out the chef serious deficit, because he also conjures exquisite and delicious dishes for the day.
