This city apartment is located in the centre of Alphen aan den Rijn (Alphen on the Rhine) and has a spacious terrace opening directly onto the marina, which is connected with the Old Rhine. Alphen aan den Rijn is centrally located in the green heart of the Netherlands near the big cities; Amsterdam, Utrecht,The Hague/Scheveningen and Rotterdam. Amsterdam is only 40 minutes away by car and express coach. The bus stops 5 minutes' walk away from the apartment, and will take you directly to the capital.
The house is thus in the middle of the Green Heart of the Netherlands. Those who love bicycling and hiking will have more than enough to do. There are vast polders with winding lakes and rivers, alternating with forests and picturesque towns such as Zwammerdam and Nieuwkoop. Of course there are also the surrounding cities of The Hague and Leiden, well worth visiting. Youll also be able to discover the Keukenhof, the bird park AviFauna and the historical outdoor museum Archeon only a short distance away. A large recreation lake, with a manmade sand beach and a water ski run, as well as an 18-hole golf course, can also be found in the immediate area.

Alphen aan den Rijn, perfect place for family vacation. Very nice town, near to Holland attractions, reasonable price, and most of all, the kids enjoy the peaceful environment.

The appartment is situated in the center of Alphen aan den Rijn facing a marina. At 5 minutes walk there are terasses at the river Rijn, as well as a shopping mall, restaurants railway and busstation.
There is an ideal busconnection with the center of Amsterdam. (approx. 12 Euro roundtrip). The busstop in Amsterdam is at the Leidseplein one of the famous centers of Amsterdam and at 300 meters from the Rijksmuseum. The last bus leaves Amsterdam at 23.17 hrs.. The busstop in Alphen aan den Rijn is at 5 minutes walk from the appartment. Also easy public transport to other greta cities like Utrecht, Leiden, The Hague,and the airport Schiphol |
