This detached holiday home is located 2.5 km to the southwest of Mezökövesd on the holiday resort Zsory, in the northwest of Hungary. 500 m from your holiday home there is the large thermal spa of Mezökövesd-Zsory (against payment), with a number of outdoor and indoor baths, tennis courts and a restaurant. The holiday house is cosely decorated and in the garden you can enjoy a glass of wine.
The city of Mezökövesd is the capital of the Matyo ethnic group, the smallest Hungarian tribe. They are known for their colourful national dress which you can still admire in the local museum. In addition, in Mezökövesd you can visit the 18th century baroque church.
The area to the northwest of Budapest is known for its unspoiled terrain with the expansive puszta steppes which boast a number of lakes as well as the great lake Tisza. Here you can still get a taste of the typical Hungarian country lifestyle. For culture, you can go visit the medieval church of Eger (15 km).
