The residential area of Saint-Mandé borders the historical centre of Paris. You will find a true Parisian atmosphere there, but with less of the chaos of the city centre. There are restaurants, typical French bars, a supermarket, shops and banks all within a radius of 500 metres.
"Saint-Mandé" underground station (line 1) is only five minutes walk away. This line serves the centre of Paris directly in just a few minutes, going to places like Nation, Place de la Bastille and the Louvre.
Buses and the RER express urban train network also stop close by.
