We enjoyed our long weekend at Bavelds Dennen which lived up to its website description. We hired bikes on site and were given a map so we could cycle on tracks beside canals, as well as the many small country lanes. It was extremely flat making cycling easy. The old town of Ootmarsum nearby was good for shopping and cafes. The one mistake we made was leaving windows open at night, because we were badly bitten by mosquitoes which we are not used to in Scotland where we live. We were impressed with the efficient service and range of properties of Belvilla through whom we booked the holiday.
