The holiday park has various facilities, such as an indoor swimming pool, sauna (for an entrance fee) and solarium (for an entrance fee). Moreover you have free entry to the "Nordseelagune", a swimming paradise for both older and younger people.
The beach resort Burhave is the heart of Butjadingen, the largest holiday peninsula in Germany. You are surrounded by the water of the North sea on three sides here. The sea water and the fresh air provide a healthy island climate. Burhave has always been a fishing village, which now has become renowned as a resort.
Burhave and region offer many possibilities for a lovely holiday. The beach resort has gained an excellent reputation as an ideal holiday destination for families with children. There are many possibilities, like the children's paradise Kinderscheune (free for guests of Seepark Burhave) and the animal- and leisure park Jaderberg.
Sports enthusiasts will find 250 km signposted cycling paths. You can go walking on the Wadden, horse riding, jogging, fishing, bowling, tennis or mini golf. There are many excursion opportunities in the region of Burhave. What do you think of the lively city Bremerhaven, the maritime museum Brake and Bremerhaven or the historical city Oldenburg.
A new holiday park is being built next to the park. It is possible that there will be some nuisance in the accommodations bordering the new park. The new park is expected to be complete at the beginning of 2014.
