This comfortable studio, Studio 64 is located directly on the Karperskuyl harbour in Hoorn. The studio is practically furnished and radiates a modern atmosphere. The location is unique, directly on the harbour, with views of pleasure yachts making it a special holiday accommodation.
Hoorn is a former Dutch East India company city with a rich history. There are various monuments which remind one of times past, such as an old sluice, museums and historic buildings. Around the harbour there are various terraces and restaurants where you can hapily people watch. The region of West Frisia also offers various walking and cycling options. Visit the de Weelen nature reserve, a rich bird habitat with diversity of nature, from forest to beautiful reed fens. Visit the cheese market in Alkmaar, the Zuiderzee museum in Enkhuizen or take a day out in Amsterdam!

We were pleasantly surprised about the location and the accommodation. It was a very old town with lots of historical interest. We walked into town and found something different to see and experience each day. Studio 64 was within easy distance to the historical centre and there were plenty of shops and eateries to serve our needs. Studio 64 was very comfortable and served our every need. From here we were also within easy distance to travel to nearby locations. The railway station was just over a kilometre away but our rental manager helped us by collecting us from the station and returning us, even though we left early one morning.

We loved this studio in Hoorn! It was beautifully decorated and very convenient. The building was very quiet and the view of the harbor was outstanding. We loved the convenience of being able to walk all over Hoorn, a beautiful harbor town, and then return to this very sweet studio apartment. We also liked the convenience to travel all over North Holland. It is absolutely top notch.

The small town of Hoorn is a great place to enjoy a short holiday or a long weekend trip. Hoorn is one of the best preserved historical cities in the Netherlands. Once, Hoorn used to be the center of the Golden Age, at a time when the VOC, the Dutch Far East Trading company traded spices with countries in the Far East.
These times are long gone, but the history is still vivid and today you can enjoy the beautiful, historical buildings that remember of the old days. From Studio64 you can walk through the smal streets or stroll alongside the ancient harbor, which is now home to many restaurants with excellent quisine. Some great museums are within easy reach, either by foot, bike of car.
Today, Hoorn is famous for its watersports facilities. The city has four marinas, and staying at Studio64 with a view on one of them may infect you with the sailing virus. No worries, we can offer sailing tours from one of the local skippers, either on a sleek sailing yacht of a larger ship.
Would you like to end your day with a romantic dinner? Why not go there by boat? At restaurant Hendrickje Stoffels at the harbor, you can embark for a pre-dinner boat trip through the old harbor. On board, you will be served a delicious variety of appetizers and drinks.
