House description
This holiday home is located at Oosterhout in north Brabant, in the grounds of a working farm. The setting offers plenty of privacy and provides fine views over the countryside. The house is nicely appointed and fitted out with all you need for a happy holiday! The surrounding area offers a variety of possibilities; a golf course, tennis court and children's farm are all close by. Biesbosch nature reserve (approx.15km) is definitely worth a visit! Admire the district from the water (Cast off for the boat trip at Drimmelen, 12km), cycle along the towpaths or ramble down a few of the numerous footpaths (some of them accessible only by water). A great experience for young and old alike! Children can amuse themselves at ‘de Efteling’ theme park (approx. 20km) or 'de Beekse Bergen’ safari park (20km).

This is a very nice part of an old farm house, sited in a quiet spot on the outskirts of Oosterhout. This is an easy location to get to places such as Breda, Den Bosch etc in the South. Comfortable old furniture and some sitting out space in the garden. It is our second stay in this house and we will be back. Nice owner.

I stayed here with my parents for one week during the latter part of August. My father is from this part of the province (s'Gravenmoer) and this location worked very well. It's a wonderful working farm located in the old part of Oosterhout. The grounds were immaculate, and the caretaker was very welcoming.
The weather the entire time was rainy, but oh well, this is kikkerland. This was a nice central spot to discover the smaller towns of Noord Brabant. I recommend it.

De Blauwe Hoeve is a lovely holiday cottage, we had a most enjoyable time in a lovely area. Oosterhout is a nice town and very friendly, also a great base for trips to Breda, Willemstadt and ,of course,Efteling!!
We consider De Blauwe Hoeve to be one of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed in, our only regret is that the owner , quite rightly, did not speak English and we, to our shame, do not speak Dutch. If anyone has the chance, please tell him how much we enjoyed our stay.
