The capital Palma de Majorca and the airport are within approx. 36km., while towns like Inca (6km.), famous for its leather products like bags and belts, and Alcudia (10km.), with its old walled in inner part of town, is also worth a visit. The peninsula Formentor in the northwest of the island offers spectacular views over the rocky coast of the almost 200m. high rocks. Would you like to see more of the island, and then a daytrip to Artá and Manacor (pearl and earthenware industry) is possible, or a beautiful trip to the cloister of Lluc, which is situated in the western mountains. The exclusive village Sollér lies beautifully in a bay and several excellent restaurants. You can reach the village through the mountains, or the train from Palma de Majorca. Ca'n Tabou is a perfect base for a wonderful holiday on Majorca.
