On the ground floor there is a compact studio (35m), with a terrace provided with garden furniture at the rear. The moment you step outside youre right in the town centre, where youll find an assortment of half-timbered houses and narrow cobbled streets. High above Blankenburg youll see the castle, surrounded by gardens; a stroll around here will be well rewarded.
Youll find a wide choice of sightseeing options and things to do in this region. For those who love views of medieval sites, towns like Wernigerode, Quedlinburg and Goslar offer a treat to the eye, while nature-lovers will be drawn to the dense forests. We recommend a trip on one of the narrow-gauge railways, an excursion up the 1100-metre-high Brocken for splendid views into the distance, or a glimpse into the underground world at the caves of Rübeland.
