House description
This comfortable, two-person holiday home is by the city wall of the historic town of Quedlinburg. The home has a shared garden with garden furniture. You'll find around 1200 traditional half-timbered houses on your doorstep. The town is dominated by its wonderful medieval castle and cathedral. You'll imagine you're back in the middle ages in the town's narrow alleyways, original cobblestone streets and crooked houses.
You'll find a wide range of popular attractions in the surrounding area too. These include the 1100 metre tall Brocken Mountain in the nearby nature reserve. The historic towns of Wernigerode and Blankenburg both have castles and are not far. You can also enjoy the famous steam train which meanders through this beautiful region. You can be on the Braunlage ski-slopes within thirty minutes by car in winter. The smaller ski-areas of Hahnenklee and the Sankt Andreas Mountain are only an hour away.
