The accommodations at the Bergumermeer Recreation Centre are part of holiday park with plenty of water. There are various types for you to choose from. You have the choice of a 6 person Bungalette (NL-9262-06). This is a cross between a bungalow and a chalet and they have been furnished with care and well maintained. The 6 person bungalow (NL-9262-05) is somewhat more spacious. In the 'villa category', the park has a 6 person Type A (NL-9262-08) which is equipped with all contemporary equipment. This variant is also available in a 4 person Type C (NL-9262-07). For a bit more luxury go for the 6-pers. villa Type B (NL-9262-09) which includes an infrared sauna. All villas are near the water and all accommodations are detached and have a terrace/garden and garden furniture.

The Bergumermeer recreation centre is a true paradise for water sports lovers, but the facilities (such as the covered swimming pool) and surroundings make this holiday park suitable for the entire family.;
The Bergumermeer is an ideal holiday address for water sports lover. The park has a marina with a boat launch. You can take your boat with your on holiday! If you don't have your own boat, there is the option to hire a (sail)boat or sloop, so that you can enjoy the beauty of Friesland from the water. The park has plenty of facilities. You can enjoy the covered water and play paradise most of the year.
The location on Lake Bergumer and the Princess Margriet Canal provide a perfect base for boat trips. You can also visit characteristic villages and charming cities such as Leeuwarden (approx. 21km away). There is also the De Alde Feanen national park with its many lakes, fen ponds, reed beds and marsh forests which is really worth a visit. If you want to try something else, how about a day trip to one of the Frisian Islands. Planning a day schedule won't be a problem.
There are certain locations with KPN HotSpots and WiFi (for a fee). Swimming pool is open from April 1 until October 31. Certain facilities are not open in the early and late season or have restricted opening times.
If your house pet is not requested, access to the park and the booked accommodation may be refused upon arrival. To arrange this, contact the customer service centre by phone.
The deposit for the gate key is 20 EUR per accommodation.
