Estate: Finca El Jiniebro
Authentic finca in rural setting with a communal swimming pool, consisting of 7 typical cottages in an idyllic location in the inland of Extremadura.;
You will find the rustic situated authentic finca with shared pool (9x5m; open 15/06 - 15/09), in the inlands of Extremadura, close to the border of Portugal. The finca is located on a 12ha. woody area, and consist of five different casas rurales: a big house and four smaller ones. All these houses are built 200 years ago, and have been recently renovated in a rustic style, all with airconditioning.
The finca lies between two nature parks, Rierra de San Pedro and Serre de Sao Mamede (Portugal), and close by is a protected area for birds (ZEPA). From the house, you can see falcons and eagles flying! In the surrounding, you will find various small mediaeval villages and ruins such as Alburquerque (visit the mediaeval festival in August!). When you walking along the Dolmann path (3km) you will be under the delusion that you are a true robber. Even Portugal is within a short distance. In the surrounding, you can horse ride and golf. In short, the ideal holiday place for peace and activities!
Spanish language courses are on offer in combination with a variety of activities. Courses of one week to one year are available. You can combine tourism with a language course. The language school is an approved institution.
