House description
This chalet is highly recommended and in a unique location. It is at the foot of a mountain. The chalet is in Schild which is part of the picturesque town of Matrei. This and the other chalets here are perfect for lovers of natural beauty. The Geschildalmen are at an altitude of 1500 metres. They are more than 100 years old and were accommodation for farmers while tending their cattle. There is no garden but there is the beautiful Alpine meadow. You can enjoy superb walks from the holiday home to Innergschlöss, Venedigerhaus and the Prägerhütte. You will occupy half of this pleasantly furnished, renovated chalet. The chalet is suitable for two adults and two children.
Please note: The house is easily reached. There is a private car park very near the house. In summer cattle graze right up to the house. Wood is available for the fireplace. Dogs should be on a lead because of the cattle.
