This well furnished, split house is situated in the middle of gently undulating woodland landscape, atmospheric villages and vineyards. Many cycle and walking routes in the surrounding area. 'Parc Régional de la Forêt d'Orient', a nature reserve with 3 lakes, on 50 km. Worth visiting: Troyes, with it's many gothic churches and stain glass windows (1/2 hour drive). For those who enjoy a relaxing holiday!

Excellent house with good facilities. We had a very happy stay here. To be recommended.

Defoit is an amazing holiday home for a family or small group and it's size, presentation and comfort was over and above what we expected. The host family are incredibly accomodating and friendly and the village is in a fantastic location for taking day trips in southern Champagne and Cote D'Or and is only 2.5 hours from Paris. We highly recommend this house - and in winter it even came with a few days worth of snow!
