House description
The house "Novy Svet" is located in one of old Prague's most beautiful and romantic streets, just a stone's throw from Prague Castle. Novy Svet ("New World") street is extremely quiet and is the traditional area in which Prague's artists live.
The house was built after the 30 Years War and has been rebuilt many times since. It was completely renovated in 2006 to make it an undeniably charming house, combining authenticity and style.
The accommodation is over several levels. These seem to open the one to the other thanks to the way glass windows are arranged between the floors and a very airy spiral staircase. A bedroom area and bathroom are on the ground floor, while the kitchen and lounge are on the first level. On the second level (attic) you will find the second bedroom and a very original double bathroom. Please note that the bedrooms are open rooms without doors.
The location in the city is ideal. The castle, St Guy's Cathedral and the captivating Golden Street are just a stone's throw away, while the typical Mala Strana district (and its numerous restaurants) is approximately 10 - 15 minutes walk away, as is Charles Bridge which connects Mala Strana to the Old City district.
The situation with regard to traffic and parking differs from one town to the other. Please check before your holiday.
