House description
Old stone mill (1875) with limestone roof, fully restored (1985) on the inside. The original wood and original stones have been retained. The water which drove the mill flows under the mill. The mill is in the village of Huergas de Babia, in the midst of nature, but is not isolated. The only sound here is that of the water, the birds, the wind and some animals. The mountain valley in which "Babia" is located is a biosphere reservation and a lovely area. From the mill you can quickly and easily reach various lakes, walking areas and high mountains.
The mill has two bedrooms, and an attic with an extra bed, a total of 5 separate beds, two of which are wide (1.20 m). About 200 metres from the house there is a supermarket and a restaurant, and 3.5 km away a bank and a pharmacy. There are many activities in the area, such as fishing and horseback riding. There is a ski area about 25 km away.
