We had a lovely stay. After a very long drive from Liverpool we arrived exhausted and dishevelled to a friendly welcome from our hosts, Pierre and Francois. It was particularly lovely that Pierre had baked us a cake for our arrival. The gite was very well laid out, spotlessly clean and fully equipped, especially the kitchen, with everything we could need for our stay. The private outdoor terrace and beautiful garden leading down to a lake was so tranquil and relaxing. There were plenty of villages and towns to visit and the Gorge des Siouel was very picturesque. We enjoyed a canoing trip down the river but ached the next day! We would definitely recommend staying here and we will have no hesitation in returning next time we visit the region.
