House description
In the midst of farming life, in the French countryside and surrounded by pristine nature and the most amazing views. There youll find our house, Chaudagne. It is situated at an elevation of 440 metres in the Montagne Bourbonnaise, in the middle of France.
The holiday home is a part of the neighbourhood of Chaudagne. It is a barn conversion from 1885 with 75 cm thick walls and is situated on 1 ha of land.
The neighbouring farmer leases a part of the property for the pony Fifi, and sometimes there are sheep grazing in the field.
There is a type of gravel around the house. Behind the house on the grassy field there are 10 fruit trees and lavender and roses grow around the house.
Rabbits are regular visitors, but deer, foxes and wild pigs have been spotted. Sometimes there is a large European Owl on the roof, and youll see bats if you sit outdoors in the evening.
Chaudagne is a perfect spot for people looking for relaxation, fishing, mountain biking, reading, walking, good food and to stare at the stars with a glass of wine by the fire. Kids have plenty of space to cavort, building huts or playing with the animals.
