In the south of the Ardèche, close to the beautiful Gorges de l'Ardèche, between the Pont du Gard, you will find the valley of the Cèze, the county of Uzés and the Mont Ventoux, in the midst of the charming medieval town Aiguèze, which is nicked between the most beautiful towns of France and overlooks the Ardèche and its swim beaches (which is reachable by foot) and the Rhône-valley, much loved as a tourist route of the Côtes du Rhône, a linked townhouse (54 m2) from nature stone with a beautiful, romantic and shady terrace. The interior is pleasant and comfortable, with a beautiful antique fireplace. Well kept interior.

Very picturesque ancient village, with a handfull of good cafes and small, friendly restaurants. Excellent hosts live only ten metres away. The garage is very big, but manoeuvring through the narrow, cobbled streets can be interesting. Many corners need a three-point manoeuver to get round in my Mondeo. Don't take a Jag, big Merc etc unless you're sure of your abilities in a tight space. Rock isn't kind to bodywork. Stunning views, with many more within easy driving distance and lots of spectacular places to visit. Nearest disco is miles away - great! Go down to the river and watch the kingfishers catching their dinner; soaring buzzards searching the riverbanks; the trout, always just out of reach in all the rivers; hire a canoe, or better still take your own. The only rule is no sails and no motors.
